Today the 76th Republic Day was celebrated with great pomp at Sharda University Agra. The chief guest of the program, Hon'ble Additional District Judge Agra Mr. Mahendra Kumar, special guest Railway Advisor Mr. D.L. Gupta and motivational speaker Mr. Deepak Singh Azad and Honorable Vice Chancellor of Sharda University Professor (Dr.) Jayanti Ranjan hoisted the flag and saluted it. The Vice Chancellor congratulated and wished everyone on Republic Day and said that today we should remember the vision and contribution of many of our great leaders like Subhash Chandra Bose, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and Mahatma Gandhi. Today we are celebrating the 76th Republic Day, which marks the adoption of our Constitution on 26 January 1950. This day also becomes very special because on this day we had prepared our own constitution after breaking away from the rules and regulations of the British and implemented it.

The chief guest, Hon'ble Additional District Judge Agra Mr. Mahendra Kumar congratulated everyone on Republic Day and said that we should also talk about the 76 years of development journey of the Indian Republic. In these seven and a half decades, India has made its place on the world stage as a nation full of self-confidence. The whole country is proud of its heritage. It is moving forward with the resolve to get rid of the mentality of slavery. The big responsibility of building a developed India is on the shoulders of the youth. At present, today's youth is progressing rapidly with many campaigns of the government like MNREGA, Startup India, Make in India, Atmanirbhar Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Protsahan Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana, Stand Up India Yojana.

In terms of labor force, India is the second most powerful country in the world after China. Every citizen of India, which has become the fifth largest economy in the world, is working towards making the country strong and progressive. Every citizen has a big role in the Indian Republic. NCC cadets of Sharda University marched past and the students presented patriotic songs, speeches and dances which were commendable and praiseworthy. Havildar Ajgar Ali and Havildar Shailendra Singh of 2 UP Battalion Agra were present. Shailendra Singh painted everyone in the color of patriotism by singing patriotic songs.

The program was conducted by Prof. Hemlata Jain. On this auspicious occasion, the Registrar, Deputy Registrar, Deans, Directors, Heads of Departments, A.N.O., teachers and staff of Sharda University were present. On the national festival, the Honorable Chancellor of Sharda University, Mr. PK Gupta and Honorable Pro Chancellor, Mr. YK Gupta sent greetings and best wishes to everyone.
