ASET Celebrated Kisan Diwas 2024

ASET celebrated Kisan Diwas on 23/12/2024 with great enthusiasm and reverence, honouring the contributions of our farmers and fostering awareness about agricultural advancements.
We were privileged to have Shri Omvir Singh, Rastriya Upadhyaksha Bhartiya Kisan Union LokShakti as our Chief Guest, along with Shri K.P. Singh Thainuan, National President ,Gaon Kisan Unnayan as our Guest of Honour, the esteemed Pradhans  Shri Amit ji (Pradhan Arsena),Shri Dhramveer Chaudhary(Pradhan  Ghadaya),Shri Veerpal ji(Pradhan Badhaya),Shri Raju Singh ji(Pradhan Raipura Jat),Shri Pintu singh Ji(Pradhan Singhna ) .
The event was graced by the insightful presentations from our Drone Centre of excellence team and faculty, aimed at empowering our farmers with knowledge and technology.

1. Prof (Dr.) R. Swaminathan, Dean ASET delivered a thought-provoking presentation on the Importance of Drone Technology in Agriculture, highlighting its potential to revolutionize farming practices.
2. Dr. Manish Babu Agarwal demonstrated the process and benefits of Potato Testing, ensuring better crop quality and yield.
3. Dr. Divyani Panwar shared her expertise through a detailed presentation on Food Technology, emphasizing the significance of value addition and innovative food processing techniques.
The occasion also served as a platform for interaction between the students and our respected guests, providing valuable guidance on the challenges and opportunities in modern agriculture.
We sincerely thank our Honorable Vice Chancellor Maam, Prof. (Dr.) Jayanthi Ranjan, for her support and encouragement, which made this event possible.
