Educational Development Program on the topic Science, Technology, and Social Change

Sharda School of Basic Sciences and Research, Sharda University Agra, successfully organized a one-day Educational Development Program on the topic "Science, Technology, and Social Change" on August 30th, 2024. The session was delivered by Prof. (Dr.) S. L. Sharma, an esteemed alumnus of IIT Kanpur, retired Professor from IIT Kharagpur, and University Chairman of P.G. Programs at KIIT Deemed University, Bhubaneswar.

This event was held under the visionary leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Jayanthi Ranjan, Vice Chancellor of Sharda University Agra, Prof. (Dr.) Ravindra Kumar Jain, Dean SSBSR, Sharda University Agra, and Dr. Awadhesh Pandey (Assistant Professor) served as the Convener of this event.

Over 25 participants joined us for this insightful and invaluable workshop. The program focused on the profound and growing influence of science and technology on society, exploring how they shape our moral values, ideologies, and daily lives—including our modes of communication, work, housing, clothing, food, transportation, and even the quality and duration of life itself.
