Expert talk on Emerging Landscape of Liposomes on Cancer Therapeutics

Sharda School of Pharmacy, Sharda University Agra, organized an expert talk titled “Emerging Landscape of Liposomes on Cancer Therapeutics” on 19th September 2024. The event took place under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Jayanthi Ranjan, Vice Chancellor of Sharda University Agra, and Prof. (Dr.) Umesh Kumar Sharma, Dean of the Sharda School of Pharmacy.

The speaker for the event was Dr. Ankit Jain, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy at Birla Institute of Technology and Science Pilani (BITS-Pilani). Dr. Jain, a distinguished scholar with a Ph.D. and postdoctoral experience from the USA, brought profound insights into the application of liposomal technology in cancer treatment. His talk emphasized recent advancements, clinical implications, and ongoing research in the field.

The event was successfully coordinated by Mr. Ashutosh Solanki and Mrs. Aastha Sharma, Assistant Professors at Sharda School of Pharmacy, who ensured smooth proceedings. Around 70 participants, including faculty members, researchers, and students, attended the session, contributing to a dynamic exchange of ideas and questions.

The expert talk provided invaluable knowledge to the participants, highlighting the transformative potential of liposomes in revolutionizing cancer treatment.
