SSP celebrated World Health Day and organized a free Health Checkup Camp in association with Pushpanjali Hospital Agra

Sharda School of Pharmacy and Department of Biotechnology, Sharda University Agra, in collaboration with Pushpanjali Hospital, Agra, celebrated World Health Day and organized a Free Health Checkup Camp on April 8, 2024, at Radha Krishnan Hall.

Prof. (Dr.) Kashmira J. Gohil, the Dean, welcomed Chief Guest Dr. (Maj) Vishwa Deepak, MBBS, MD, Psychologist Ms. Aditi Maheshwari, PG Diploma in Psychotherapy, Mr. Nitin Verma, Head (Sales and Marketing), Dr. Amber Mishra, MBBS, DNB, Dr. Vivek, MBBS, DNB and Mr. Abhishek Mishra, Asst. Manager (Marketing) and highlighted the importance of  Health with vital steps to prioritize health in day to day life.

Dr. (Maj) Vishwa Deepak addressed the audience and highlighted the importance of health. Ms. Aditi Maheshwari led a seminar on depression, anxiety and  stress management, providing valuable insights into coping mechanisms and interactive Q&A sessions. Prof. (Dr.) R. K. Jain, Dean (Academics), and Prof. (Dr.) Gyanendra Kumar Sharma, CAC (Pharmacy) addressed the audience and emphasized stress-free living.

In collaboration with Pushpanjali Hospital, a free health check-up camp offered screenings including ECG, diabetes check, blood pressure monitoring, and weight assessments. Attendees also received psychological consultations. More than 250 students and staff members of the university benefited with free medical advice and health checkups.

Dr. Vasundhara Saxena (Asso. Prof., Pharmacy) and Mr. Pramod Gaware (HoD Biotechnology) coordinated the event successfully.

Prof. (Dr.) Jayanthi Ranjan, Honourable Vice Chancellor of Sharda University Agra, extended warm wishes, emphasizing the university's commitment to community health.The event garnered enthusiastic participation, fulfilling its objectives of providing health services and knowledge.
