Innovation Council (IIC) hosted a Pitch Deck Event

Sharda University Agra Institution Innovation Council (IIC) hosted a Pitch Deck Event that saw the participation of 22 innovative groups.

The event was inaugurated by the Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Jayanthi Ranjan, and Mr. Saibal Chatterjee, Director Outreach. The Chief Guests for the event were Dr. Deepak Kumar, Senior Manager, AI CoE, Reliance JIO Infocomm, Bangalore, India, and Mr. Bhanu Pratap Singh, Vice President - IT, Health Insurance TPA of India Limited. Prof. (Dr.) R. Swaminathan, Dean of ASET and President of the IIC, welcomed all guests.

Hon.Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Jayanthi Ranjan emphasized the importance of problem-solving skills and an innovative mindset as essential for success. Dean Prof.Dr.R.Swaminathan encouraged students to think creatively and embrace challenges. Director Outreach Mr. Saibal Chatterjee added that innovation is not confined to technical expertise but extends to finding solutions that positively impact society, urging students to make their ideas socially relevant.

The judging panel included Vice President Mr. Atul Narang, Mr. J. Reddy, Dr. Manish Baboo Agrawal, Ms. Archana Singh, Dr. Divyani Panwar, Mr. Jalad Gupta, and Convener Mr. Gopalji Varshneya. The judges reviewed each pitch and provided feedback to the participants.

The event highlighted exceptional projects, including

A solar-powered water filtering system designed to provide sustainable access to clean drinking water

A cognitive ability enhancement program tailored for visually impaired individuals, merging innovation with inclusivity

A Cloud Campus concept aimed at revolutionizing education through seamless digital integration

Cutting-edge advancements in e-sports and game development

Several teams were shortlisted for the final round based on their ideas and presentations. The event was coordinated by IIC members Ms. Archana Singh and Dr. Divyani Panwar. Participants appreciated the platform, calling it invaluable for fostering creativity and entrepreneurial spirit.

The Pitch Deck Event showcased Sharda University Agra's dedication to promoting innovation and creating opportunities for its students to thrive. The university looks forward to organizing inter-university events to inspire and empower young minds.
