Miniature Gardening Practices: A New Horizon for Women Entrepreneurship

Sharda School of Business Studies has organised a Seminar on "Miniature Gardening Practices (Bonsai, Kokedama, Penjing, Terrariums): A New Horizon for Women Entrepreneurship" in alignment with the Uttar Pradesh Government`s ongoing Mission Shakti-Phase 5 Initiative on 23rd December 2024.

The Resource Person for the seminar was Dr. Sumita Dodia, Professor, Riseholme Agriculture University, United Kingdom.

During the seminar the students, came to know that Miniature gardens are the little versions of real-world gardens and has now evolved as innovative, creative and unique business idea.

She also highlighted that at the outset a person can easily earn 50k-60k per month with miniature gardens.

Our heartfelt gratitude to Prof. (Dr.) Jayanthi Ranjan, Hon`ble Vice Chancellor Madam for her visionary leadership which has been pivotal in organizing this Seminar.

A special thanks goes to Prof. (Dr.) Sachin Kumar Srivastava, Dean SSBS and Nodal Officer Mission Shakti, SUA for his unwavering support and exemplary guidance to ensuring the success of this seminar.

The seminar emphasized that “Big things come in small packages” and through Miniature Gardening Practices the students can explore entrepreneurial opportunities in future.
