Pattimandram - The Battle of Wits

Sharda University, Agra, successfully organized the first series of "Pattimandram: The Battle of Wits" on Monday, July 1, 2024, under the esteemed patronage of Prof. (Dr.) Jayanthi Ranjan, Vice Chancellor, Sharda University Agra. The event featured a spirited debate on the topic "For Faculty Progression in India - Teaching is important as a Teacher or Research is important as a researcher?"

The event was coordinated by Dr. M. Shamshath Begum, Associate Professor, Department of Pharmacy. Faculties from various schools presented well-reasoned arguments and fierce intellectual battle. After careful deliberation and hearing thought provoking arguments Hon'ble VC Mam decided the team representing "Teaching is important as a teacher" as the winner.

Honourable Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Jayanthi Ranjan, congratulated the convener for organizing such a stimulating and enriching program, which encourages critical thinking and effective communication skills.
