Secures Consolation Prize at Smart India Hackathon 2024

Sharda University Agra proudly secured the Consolation Prize at the prestigious Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2024, held over five days and organized by AICTE at the National Institute of Engineering (NIE), Mysuru. The event saw participation from leading institutions across India, addressing 254 problem statements with innovative technological solutions.
The event was inaugurated by Honble Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji, who commended the participants for their exemplary efforts and highlighted the students' contributions to the nations technological growth, in line with the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.
Hon.Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Jayanthi Ranjan congratulated the team members for their remarkable achievement.
The teams success was also attributed to the guidance of Dean of ASET Prof. (Dr.) R. Swaminathan, Director (off.) Prof. (Dr.) Shailendra Singh, and the Heads of Departments, Mr. Rahul Agrawal (ECE) and Mr. Achal Kumar (CSE). Their constant encouragement motivated the students to excel.
The success of the Sharda team was made possible through the guidance and support of Mr. Dinakaran M., who conceptualized the innovative project, and Dr. Ravindra Tomar, whose mentorship played a crucial role. The Drone Center of Excellence, led by Ms. Archana Singh, also provided invaluable support throughout the process.
Sharda University Agra's achievement at the Smart India Hackathon 2024, a flagship initiative by the Ministry of Education, further reinforces its position as a leader in innovation and technological excellence. The event has proven to be a significant milestone for the university, showcasing its commitment to empowering students and contributing to the nations technological advancements.
Mr. Gopalji Varshneya, the team mentor and convener of the IIC Cell, also expressed pride in the team's success, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and innovation in shaping the future of technology.
Shri P.K. Gupta, Honble Chancellor, and Shri Y.K. Gupta, Pro-Chancellor, also expressed their pride in the achievement, praising the team for their dedication and hard work. They reaffirmed the universitys commitment to fostering innovation and preparing future leaders.
