Signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Bharga Biotech

The MoU document was signed by Prof. (Dr.) Jayanthi Ranjan, Honourable Vice Chancellor of Sharda University Agra and Mr. P. S. Jiju, Managing Director of Bharga Biotech.
MoU is in between Sharda School of Design and Bharga Biotech & Re-Energy Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Kerala on 15th July 2024, in presence of Dean Ms. Monika choudhary, Sharda School of Design, Registrar Prof. (Dr.) Masudul Haq Wani, Dean of School of Smart Agriculture, Dean of Sharda School of Basic Sciences & Research. This collaboration is a significant step towards adding innovation and sustainability in leather footwear, apparel manufacturing, fashion & interior design industry.
This MOU will bring the opportunities for our fashion & interior design students like:-
- Research Collaboration: Jointly conduct research projects focused on sustainable materials and production processes for vegan leather.
- Educational Programs: Develop curriculum and workshops that promote awareness and knowledge in sustainable fashion, materials science and interior design.
- Internships and Training: Provide design students with hands-on experience through internships and training programs within the vegan leather apparel industry.
- Knowledge Exchange: Facilitate knowledge sharing through seminars, conferences, and publications in relevant fields.
