SUA Hosts ATDC Officials for Skill Development Collaboration

Sharda University Agra had the honor of hosting officials from the Apparel Training and Design Centre (ATDC). ATDC serves as the nodal agency for skill training schemes launched by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment. Sponsored by the State Skill Missions of 11 states, ATDC operates 69 centres across the country, offering skill development programs.

The primary objective of this meeting was to discuss the formalities and modalities for establishing a dedicated Training Centre on our university campus. This proposed centre will offer a wide range of skill development programs, including certification courses and diploma programs, directly aligned with our mission to bridge the gap between industry requirements and the existing skillset of the workforce.

The meeting was highly productive, setting the groundwork for the establishment of the Training Centre in the near future. We look forward to this promising collaboration and are excited about the impact this initiative will have on the community and industry.
