Workshop on Intellectual Property Rights

Sharda School of Pharmacy (SSP), Sharda University Agra in association with Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Intellectual Property Management (RGNIIPM), Nagpur (Govt. of India Undertaking) organized an online Workshop on “Intellectual Property Rights” on July 29th, 2024 under the visionary leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Jayanthi Ranjan, Vice Chancellor of Sharda University Agra (Chief Patron) and Prof. (Dr.) Umesh Kumar Sharma, Dean Sharda School of Pharmacy (Patron).

As a guest speaker for the Workshop, Dr. Bharat N Suryawanshi, Assistant Controller of Patents and Design has shared his insights and experiences, providing participants with a deep understanding of the practical aspects of patents and design. Dr. Bharat's presentation elucidated the technical aspects of intellectual property rights including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and designs offering a comprehensive overview of patent laws, regulations, and processes governing the protection of pharmaceutical innovations and design. The insightful event witnessed registration from more than 370 participants. Mr. Ravi Kumar was the coordinator of the event. The workshop provided a platform for intellectual engagement and skill development, reinforcing Sharda University's commitment to research, academic excellence, and the holistic development of the community.
