Inaugurated Institution Innovation Council Cell

Sharda University Agra proudly inaugurated its Institution Innovation Council (IIC) Cell on 5th September 2024. The event was inaugurated by the Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Jayanthi Ranjan, who emphasized the importance of fostering a culture of innovation within the university. Prof. Dr. R. Swaminathan, Dean of the Anand School of Engineering and Technology (ASET) and President of IIC-SUA, also played a significant role in the ceremony.
The event was graced by the presence of esteemed guests from the industry, including Dr. Yogesh Srivastava, Assistant Director, MSME; Mr.Ajay Sharma, General Secretary, CCLA; Mr.Subhamay Mandal NIIT Foundation, Mr. Karthik, NIIT Foundation; Mr.Raj Sharma, CEO, Disha Holidays; and Mr.Ayyappan Sugumaran, Business Head, Garuda Aerospace Pvt. Ltd., who shared their valuable insights on industry-academia collaboration.
A significant highlight of the event was the signing of two MoUs, reinforcing Sharda University Agra's commitment to innovation and industry engagement. The first MoU was with Garuda Aerospace, focusing on advancements in drone technology and aerospace innovation. The second MoU was with NIIT Foundation - Cisco NetAcad, aimed at enhancing digital literacy and IT education through state-of-the-art networking solutions.
Additionally, Mr.Raj Sharma, CEO, Disha Holidays made a generous contribution by sponsoring a cheque of Rs 20,000 towards a project dedicated to the improvisation of the company's software, furthering the university's mission to integrate real-world challenges into academic learning.
The success of this event was made possible through the significant contributions of the IIC members, including Vice President Mr. Atul Narang, Convener Mr. Gopalji Varshney, Dr. Manish Baboo Agarwal, Mr. Jalad Gupta, Mr. Sumit Solanki, Mr. Janardhan Reddy, Dr. Divyani Panwar, and Mr. Pramod Gware. Their dedication, collaborative spirit, and relentless efforts were instrumental in making the inauguration a grand success, and they continue to be the driving force behind the university's innovation initiatives.
This event marks a significant stride in Sharda University Agra's journey towards becoming a leading hub of innovation and academic excellence.
