Special Session on New Technologies Under Rajeev Gandhi Saksharta Mission

A special session on Emerging Technologies was held under the Rajeev Gandhi Saksharta Mission at Gulshan Resort, Runkata, on 31st December 2024. The session focused on advancements like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Drone Technology, and their transformative impact on education, society, and the economy. Experts from Sharda University Agra were specially invited to share their insights and expertise during this event.
The event received significant support and encouragement from Prof. (Dr.) Jayanthi Ranjan, the Honble Vice-Chancellor of Sharda University Agra, She emphasized the universitys commitment to integrating cutting-edge technologies into education to empower students and enhance their learning experience. She also noted that such initiatives play a crucial role in shaping the future of education, ensuring inclusivity, and providing opportunities for students of all backgrounds.
Dr. Rameshwar Chaudhary, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In his keynote address, he emphasized the critical role of emerging technologies in empowering the education sector.
Dr. Gaurav Shikarvar extended the invitation to the session, which was attended by distinguished dignitaries from Sharda University, including Prof. R. Swaminathan, Dean of ASET, Mr. Dhinakaran, Head of the Drone Center of Excellence, and Mr. Gopalji Varshneya, Head of AI.
Prof. (Dr.) R. Swaminathan also emphasized, Emerging technologies like AI can transform the education sector, benefiting students of all backgrounds. Sharda University remains committed to fostering innovation and supporting students on their educational journey.
Prof. Dhinakaran M . highlighted the role of drones, stating, Drone technology is revolutionizing industries such as agriculture, disaster management, and logistics. At Sharda University, we focus on equipping students with hands-on experience through the Drone Center of Excellence.
Prof. Gopalji Varshneya spoke about the significance of AI, saying, "Artificial Intelligence is a game-changer that can revolutionize multiple sectors while ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for all learners."
In his address, Dr. Gaurav Shikarvar stated, Technologies like AI are not just innovations but essential tools that are shaping the future of education.
